Arlene J Wright-Hall

July 10, 1939 — January 17, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Arlene J. Wright-Hall, who left this world on January 17, 2025, at the age of 85, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on July 10, 1939, in Pontiac, Michigan,

Arlene lived a life defined by love, dedication, and compassion. Arlene was the cherished daughter of William and Donna Wright. She grew up in a nurturing environment that instilled in her the values of kindness and community. Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lynn Hall, and her son, Michael Hall, both of whom she missed dearly and carried in her heart until the end.

Throughout her life, Arlene was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother. She leaves behind her loving children: Kathy (David) Caskey, William Hall, Phillip (Cheryl) Hall, and Robert (Ashley) Hall. Arlene's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Sarah Felix, Morgan (Karla) Felix, Lennon Hall, and Henley Hall, who brought immense joy to her life. She was a quiet yet radiant presence in their lives, always ready to listen and offer her wisdom.

Arlene dedicated 16 years to being a live-in nanny, enriching the lives of countless children with her gentle spirit and unwavering patience. Her role as a para for Omaha Public Schools allowed her to impact even more young lives, as she was known for her nurturing nature and her ability to light up around children.

In addition to her professional life, Arlene was a dedicated member of her Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she found solace and joy among her church family. Her commitment to her faith was matched only by her desire to give back to the community, as evidenced by her many years of volunteering at Immanuel Hospital.

Arlene's Celebration of Life service will be held on February 16, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the Council Bluffs Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 142 Valley View Drive, Council Bluffs, IA 51503. There will be a luncheon following the service to gather together and share memories of the beautiful life of Arlene. Flowers may be directed to the church prior to the service. Prior to her Celebration of Life, a private burial of cremains will be held on February 14th, 2025.

Arlene was a truly remarkable woman, characterized by her quiet strength, incredible patience, and love for others. She leaves behind a rich legacy   of love, kindness, and faith that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember the light she brought into our lives and strive to carry that light forward in her honor. Rest in   peace, dear Arlene. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
