David H. Beckner

David “Dave” Harold Beckner went home to be with the Lord at the age of 87 on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Care Center in Falls City, Nebraska. Born on March 8, 1937, in Wayne, Michigan, Dave was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Throughout his life, Dave worked many jobs, including serving as a deputy sheriff for Richardson County, working at Woodings Verona, and driving a cab for Subby Lombardo, to name a few.

Dave had a passion for arrowheads, a love for hats and boots, and enjoyed discussing politics. His warmth, humor, and engaging conversations will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pauline (Sigler) Beckner; his brother, Gary Beckner; and his sister, Barbara Beckner. He is survived by his wife, Terrie Beckner, and his five stepdaughters: Randie Frederick of Omaha, Nebraska; Tammie (Scott) Davies of New Port Richey, Florida; Robin Frederick of Omaha, Nebraska; Paige Frederick of Falls City, Nebraska; and Crystal (Jonathan) Kirkendall of Falls City, Nebraska. He is also survived by his four brothers, Wayne, Danny, James, and Ronnie Beckner, all of Falls City, Nebraska; his ten grandchildren, Dominic, Julian, Mariah, Jaden, Kaylen, Audrey, Olivia, Kenzie, Devon, and Lyric; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Good News Assembly Church, located at 600 Reavis St., Falls City, NE 68355. The guestbook can be signed at Arbor Society Obituaries (https://www.arborsociety.org/obituaries).
