Diane Marie Andahl

Diane Marie Andahl, deeply loved as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving warm memories in the hearts of many. Born on June 21, 1957, Diane lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends.

Diane was a devoted mother to her daughter, Hannah Andahl-Newman, and her husband, Trevor Newman. She was a cherished grandmother to Ella, Marleigh, and Sam, who brought her immense joy and pride. 

Diane is lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Nancy Peterson (Phil), Mark Andahl (Debi), Tom Andahl (Kathleen), Kevin Andahl (Tammy), and Laura Andahl (Dana). She also leaves behind a beloved circle of nieces and nephews—Holly, Ryan, Katie, Kyle, Melissa, Jake, Bill, Michael, Jennifer, Connor, Marta, Tyler, Garret, Garrett, and Wesley—as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends who enriched her life with their love and laughter. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Robert Andahl, who she now joins in eternal peace. 

Diane's life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Christ is Lord Church, 7119 Irvington Road, Omaha, NE. A visitation and gathering will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a memorial service at 10:45 AM, followed by a lunch at 12:15 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to Christ is Lord Church in honor of Diane’s faith and spirit of giving. 

Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her love, warmth, and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
