James McAleer Jr.

James F. McAleer, age 80 of Omaha, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 14, 2024.

Preceded in death by parents, Marguerite and James F. McAleer; infant sister Eileen Rose; sister, Peggy (John) (Gordon); brother Terry and sister Michaela (Bales). Survived by wife Susan and children: sons Craig (Kathy) (Parker), James (Caroline), Sean (Carolina), Daniel (Pao), Scott (Jo), Cory (Susie) (Koll); daughters Candice (Fangman), Jen (Rob) (Mathews), and Megan (Winnike); siblings: Maryann (Ron) Downey, Patricia (Gail) Curran, Sheila (Tom) Shavlik, Joe (Marlena) McAleer; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews; as well as all of the friends he made throughout his life.

CELEBRATION of LIFE SERVICE will be held at a later date to be announced to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Open Door Mission.
