As an animal lover, John rescued his cat sugarplum who became his consistent companion.

John was a man of faith who believed in daily prayer and looking to God for comfort, peace, and direction in his life. John 16:22 Therefore you too will have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
