Jon G. Veik, 56, of Bellevue, NE passed away at home on Dec. 8th due to Glioblastoma complications.
Jon was born to Flavian and Monica Veik in Columbus, NE on June 22nd, 1968. After graduating from Humphry St. Francis, he went forth to pursue his dream of being an over the road truck driver.
In 2007 he married his wife Debbie and in 2009 they gave birth to Grace Veik, Jon’s pride and joy.
Jon was predeceased by sister Dawn Beck in 2003 and Father-in-Law Gary Willers in 2020.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, and stepson, Blake. As well as parents Flavian and Monica Veik of Humphrey, sister Amy and John Glock of Elkhorn, sister Kelly and Craig Koehler of Omaha, brother Troy Veik of Grand Island, and brother Kurt and Lisa Veik of Humphrey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jons passions in life were to have a family and a career driving truck. He was also a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous with 31 years of recovery. What he enjoyed most in life was watching his daughter excel in softball.

A vigil will be held on Monday Dec. 16th from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, and a funeral service will be Tuesday Dec 17th at 11:00 AM followed by lunch. Services will be at St. Matthews Catholic Church 12330 S 36th Street, Bellevue, NE 68123.
