Judy, born Judith Lee Pearce, left this life at home in Papillion, Nebraska to the sound of laughter of her beloved daughter and niece. Since Judy loved to laugh, it was the perfect thing for her to hear as she passed.
She is survived by her beloved Sake, a gentleman cat who was her constant companion for 14 years. They spoke often of topics ranging from the weather to politics to how many geese were in the lake outside her window, along with much nagging. It was a perfect relationship.
It is a known fact that Judy was the wisest woman in the world and she happily shared her knowledge with any that needed advice or support. She was a very good friend, a good card player, was 99% correct 95% of the time, and was better than most at making people she had just met feel valued and important. She believed that guilt was a wasted emotion and that in the end, life is short – make yourself happy. Although she was 81 when she left, it wasn’t enough time for us and she is already missed so very much. She would also want everyone to be better, to just do better.
As her only child, I hope that in her next life she finds more love from her parents, has better lovers in quantity and quality, never questions her value and allows me to be her kid again, or her cat.
