 Michael Joesph Jurisch  June 29, 1955 - October 8, 2024  

Michael Joesph Jurisch passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at home in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 69.  Michael was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on June 29, 1955 to parents Louis and Rita Jurisch. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Jurisch; mother, Rita Whitted Jurisch; sister, Monica Westin; son, Casey Jurisch; grandson, Tanner Jurisch; grand-cat, Simon.  Survivors include his loving wife Kerry Jurisch, brothers, Sean (Denise) Jurisch, Tony (Joan) Jurisch, sisters, Eva (Darrell) Betts, Sonja (Greg) Scott, Amy (Bob) Kelley; his six children, John Jurisch, Jenni Jurisch, Eric Jurisch, Jacob Jurisch, Chase Copeland, Regan Copeland; fifteen grandchildren, Elijah Jurisch, Izaak Limbo, Trent Culver, Ileigha Jurisch, Micah Jurisch, Mahala Jurisch, Lealani Bennett, Ellysianna Jurisch, Ella Jurisch, Zeppelen Jurisch, Meadow Jurisch, Ezeklel Jurisch, Rowan Copeland, Haven Copeland, Ava Fritz; two grand-cats; Payton and Elway, caring ex-wife Lenny Tollefson; lots of loving family and friends.  

CELEBRATION OF LIFE POT LUCK will be at 825 Dorcas Street Omaha, Ne 68108 (Victory Apartments in the gym) on Thursday October 17, 2024, from 5pm-7pm.

 Balloon release will be held at 7pm.

Michael will be laid to rest on Monday October 21, 2024, at 10am at Black Hills National Cemetery 2901 Pleasant Valley Drive Sturgis, South Dakota 57785.
